Mattie received her Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.M.E.) from SUNY Empire State College in 2012 consecutively while attending US Career Institute for her Wedding Planning Certification. She also graduated from the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership's Allstate Minority & Women Emerging Entrepreneurs Program (CEL) in November 2010. In 2005, she completed Canisius College’s Women Development Program in Business Basics and Sales and Marketing Essentials.
Most recently, Mattie was instrumental in planning her latest corporate event for ABWA WNY Chapter (where she served as the Events Committee Chair); The New Normal Women's Leadership Conference featuring Lisa Oz in October 2012. She is currently a national member of American Business Women Association and a member of the New York State Notary Association.
