Los Angeles Rager with The Party Goddess
Above & Beyond Event Planners, LLC, visited and shadowed A-List event planner, Marley Majcher 'aka' The Party Goddess in Los Angeles, CA in November (20-21), 2009 for a workshop seminar and to celebrate her 40th Birthday Rager.
This was presented in the form of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to work beside a party planner with a client list that includes Britney Spears, Katherine Heigl, Pierce Brosnan, Alyssa Milano, Tisha Campbell, Snopp Dogg and a ton of others. We rubbed shoulders with a hand-picked event planning team as they work on lighting, décor, installation and strike, setting up vignettes and much more.
We went on the front lines of a real L.A. Rager and learned what it takes to put on the party of the year. Then we had the chance test it out as one of her guests, eating, dancing, having a great time until the sun came up.
We walked with her at her Birthday Rager. We ask numerous of questions and learned the latest trends. Shoulder to shoulder, we're led from the front lines, fixing problems, tweaking decorations, achieving party "fabulosity," all before the doors open and 250 guests ignite the venue.
Camera flashes lite our path. The venue, once a dirty, dank, raw 10,000 square foot warehouse, magically transformed into a hotspot that made our jaw drop.
Inside, it was dreamlike...almost surreal...and you could not believe there were five different themes, each offering a unique, unforgettable experience.
